Autumn makeup fix.

Since it's officially autumn  (my fave  makeup season) I have decided to change my makeup to suit the season. This look takes all of 15 minutes which is perfect for those who like to snooze their alarms.

I have created a really wearable red eye. The red undertone brings out the green in hazel eyes.

I used  the colour copper all over my eyelid, then applied cherrywood on my crease. I used a matte black shadow on the outter corners of my eyes.once it's all applied blend, blend, blend and quickly or you're going to be late for work.  All of the colours are from the media KRyolan pallete. I then just applied a black liner on top of the lashline, waterline and just smudged it under the eye. Applied a coat of mascara. I lightly applied a brow pencil mac spiked through the brows using a light feathery motion to avoid the scouse brow unless that is your desired look of course.

For the skin I like to have a fresh look not too heavy. I used the body shop mineral foundation which is extremely similar to macs mineralize foundation without the price tag. It gives the skin a natural look with  that desired  glow.
I lightly brushed on some maybeline mulberry blusher in the hollows of my cheeks. Applied some gloss and you're good to go!

Product list.

  • Illamasqua satin primer.
  • The bodyshop minerlize foundation.Shade 2.

Kylie Jenner inspired makeup.

I cannot go anywhere without seeing Kylie Jenner just lately and not only is her style on point but her makeup is gorgeous! I am going to show you how I recreated the beauty's look that the nation cannot stop lusting over!

Kylie's base is always flawless it almost looks matte and full coverage to moi.
What I used for the base:
 - illamasqua satin primer.
-N07 stay perfect matte foundation.
-MAC Select cover up concealer.
-Illamasqua loose powder.
-Illamasqua powder blusher disobey(amazing for contouring on light skin)
-Illamasqua velvet blusher sleek.

Use products in that exact order! Apply your primer with your fingers. Apply your foundation and concealer with the beauty blender this makes the skin look irresistible 👌.

I applied my concealer like so highlighting the features I want to bring out! Highlight from the end of your nose to the top of your ear sort of height to brighten those peepers. Under the cheekbone along the center of the nose&the forehead and finally the cross bow above your lips! This gives the face extra dimension!

Once it's all blended it should look something like the above? Hopefully? I then added my velvet blusher and added the powder lightly with a brush. I don't like too much powder as it dries out my skin. I then contoured the hollows of my cheeks to make it look as though I own cheekbones.

Now onto ze eyes.

-MUA smok'in pallet.
-Benefit brow set.
-Kryolan cake eyeliner black.
-loreal miss manga lashes.

I used the first three matte shades in the pallet which blend surprisingly well, and have almost a full coverage. For the eyes stick to matte colours. I tend to choose three colours a dark brown, almond shade, and a light shade for the inner corners of the eye and to highlight beneath the brow bone. Making sure you apply the darkest colour at the end of your eyelid. Blend the dark brown onto the socket line. Sometimes matte colours can be hard to blend as they tend to go slightly patchy this is not good. To stop this from happening apply the matte colours with a flat brush this will make the colour pigments stick to the primer and eyelid more there's also more product to work with making the blending process run a lot more smoothly (well for me anyway). To complete the eye Kylie always has a perfect cat eye sort of flick her flicks are precise and once done correctly should lift the eye area. If you have trouble creating flicks the best advice I have for you is to use sticky tape to create a precise line, then fill in the rest of your liner.

Finally as if we haven't noticed it's all about the lips with Kylie lately she I seen sporting her latest pout. A nude rather full pout!
-MAC pencil spiced.
-MAC matte lipstick Yash.

To create Kylie's bee stung lips I made sure I went over my lip line a little in the pencil and blended the pencil out to make it look not soo obvious. I then applied Yash with my fave illamasqua lip brush which I cannot go one day without. And..................

TAADAA!
That's of course Kylie and below is my attempt!

The bigger the better. (Lips)

Seeing  beauties such as Megan fox with thick seductive lips has always made me envious! I have extremely thin lips for my liking and have always envied those with fuller lips. So instead of getting mad I got even. There are procedures that I have considered such as fillers but after seeing the results of the masses I have decided to stear clear and look for other solutions. I am a massive fan of natural beauty and working with the features that you own. I have decided to show you lovely people how I try to conquer my non existent lips.
(Hate her and her perfect lips)

Option number one.
The most painless way is the deadly weapon of choice makeup. Basic rules of makeup light colours will exaggerate and highlight (the bigger the better) Dark colours will pull your features in! Like clothing black gives a slimmer figure illusion!

My advice to you is to stick to nudes&peaches. Make your lips multidimensional by using different shades and textures this will make your lips look immunese. Mahoosive tip use a darker shade on the outside and a lighter one where your cross bow lies and in the center on the bottom of your lip. Finish off with a dab if gloss clear or nude.

Option number two.
Now stating the obvious that for me personally cause nothing but numb lips and badly pronounced speech. It is of course the infamous lip plumpers! Yes your smackers get their five minutes of fame and then they begin to deflate in some speed leaving us flat lipped girls with nothing but our dignity.
If I use a lip pumper I always apply three coats of Sally Hansens lip inflatation extreme. This usually does the trick for 15 minutes it smells of cinnamon, major pros if you like cinnamon and like the feeling of pins and needles in your lips!

What it does to my lips (for 15 minutes).

Option number three.
Behold the new love of my life, the fruit of my loom. My lip pumper yes the same concept as a penis enlarger! I can create my khloe kardashian inspired lips in minutes. I may warn you at first this does look more Pete burns than Angelina Jolie. But give it a chance I promise they'll puncture but within good time my darlings. You place your flat ass lips in the pump work that pout pull the pump out wards until you feel the suck! when it hurts a bit it's a that's the spot don't stop moment! Hold for all of two minutes and volia. Must admit took at least five times to learn how to speak without sounding toothless!

What the life saver looks like inside and out! Cheeky viewing below:

This pump lasts for at least two hours. I highly reccomend it before getting lip fillers.
Excuse the makeup less picture. Yes my bottom lip looks a little jay-z, but my top lip no longer gets lost when smiling with my teeth, thank you inventor of the lip pumper!

Smokey grey eye.

Recently I have discovered that soo many people stay in their comfort zone when it comes to eye shadow. The comfort zone being browns and golds yes these look gorgeous on every eye colour. However I want to show that  other colours can look just as good!.I used a stupidly cheap and surprising pallet it only cost me £6 it's a must have.(MUA Smoking pallet).

Having hazel eyes is a blessing and a curse its can sometime be hard to find colours that will make your eyes pop. This look will look amazing on brown or hazel eyes. As the dark eye colours will work in contrast with your yes making them appear lighter and letting colours shine through that you didn't even know existed in your eyes.

Eye shadow.

  • Revlon photo ready pen.
  • Black Kohl liner MAC.
  • MUA Smokin pallete.
  • MAC studio finish concealer NC15.
  • MUA Volume mascara.

I based my eye in a eye primer (Revlon photo ready pen).

I then applied a black pencil liner(MAC) on my eye lid then blended the kohl out with a eye shadow blending brush.

.Apply a light shimmer colour in the inner corner of your eye. sweep a medium silver shadow over the rest of the lid of the eye.

Using a flat eye shadow brush press a dark grey shimmery shadow just after the pupil level. Using a fluffy blending brush blend the silver and grey together making sure the darker colour is near the end of the eye and the silver in the middle.

Using a flat brush again apply a matte black shadow at the outer corner of the eye do not blend quite yet.

Using a fluffy blending brush  apply a matte honey shade of shadow on your socket line. Not only does this warm up the eye look but it also makes the eyes pop. It also looks great on hooded eyes as it gives the illusion of lifted eyes.

Using a matte highlight colour so a very matte light shadow apply this under the brow .This will lift the eyes.

Using that black liner line your bottom and top water line for that sultry look.

.Under the eyes using a fine sturdy brush push black matte shadow as close to the lash line as possible and lightly push the shadow along to make the look a lot softer. Apply that dark grey metallic shade on top and repeat.

Once you get to the outer corner of the eye create a flick going diagonal upwards towards the end of the brow. But do not I repeat do not take it that far you want it to lie just below your socket bone.

Now you can blend shadow up to where the honey taupe shade is. Blend the flick upwards towards the brow till the shadow looks soft and seamless. Keep blending until they eye looks soft, so you cannot see any lines.

I always reapply the inner corner highlight and the under brow highlight to really make the eyes stand out. Go around the eye using a concealer brush and a light concealer you're going to want the concealer to be a few shades lighter than your skin tone to highlight the eye area. Clean up  random splodges.

Finally curl the lashes and apply a few layers of mascara starting at the inner corner of your eyes. As these little lashes are the lashes that are going to open your eyes up.

Brows.

  • Spooly.
  • MUA pencil for blondes.
  • MAC brow pencil in Spiked.
  • Alight hand.

For the brows I wanted a defined yet subtle look. Before the pencil touches skin I always make sure my brows are starting where they are meant to start and end You can measure this by using a pencil from the outer nostril where it lays is where ideally your brow should start. I will do a blog post on this as brows are ridiculously important.

I brushed through the brows using a spooly.

Using a eye pencil that was a shade lighter than my brows I began to fill them using light feathery movements DO NOT PRESS HARD! We are trying to imitate hairs we do not want to create a crayon texture.

I then take another shade which is the right shade for my brows and from the brow arch lightly pencil them in brushing through the pencil for a soft look. Once I get to the end of my brows I like to make sure the brows come to a fine point for a more precise look.
